The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, perfect for savoring a flavorful meal without any pretense. The bustling energy especially during peak hours is a testament to their loyal following and consistent quality.
The menu is a treasure trove of classic Thai favorites, expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and just the right balance of spices. For those craving bold spice, the Drunken Noodles deliver a lively kick, while the Sweet and Sour Pork offers a nostalgic tangy-sweet comfort.
House specials stand out for their depth and richness: the Beef Steak Pho and Beef Special Pho feature tender slices of beef immersed in aromatic broth, served with fresh Thai basil, crunchy bean sprouts, and lime wedges that awaken your palate. The Pad Kaprow, a sizzling stir-fry of ground chicken or pork with basil, chili, and crisp vegetables topped with a fried egg, bursts with irresistible umami and heat. Meanwhile, the Crying Tiger presents juicy grilled beef atop a refreshing salad, accompanied by a zestful spicy sauce that delights the senses.
Beverages include the signature Thai Tea and Thai Coffee, each offering a sweet, creamy counterpoint to the spicy dishes, alongside classics like iced tea with fresh lemon and hot tea that soothe and refresh.
Patrons consistently praise the skillful balance of spices, describing the heat as teasingly subtle rather than overpowering—inviting diners to savor layers of flavor without overwhelming the palate. Customers like Lydia Chang appreciate the gently tingling medium spice that sparks appetite without discomfort, while Marianne Feliz Dela Cruz notes the need to specify "very spicy" to truly ignite those heat-loving taste buds.
Despite its tucked-away location in a more industrial part of town, Thai Cuisine has quickly become a cherished culinary gem. Nathan R calls it “one of the tastiest meals I’ve ever had,” highlighting dishes like Khao Soy for their rich, sweet, and well-rounded flavors. Reid H's experience with the Pad Woon Sen and Pad Thai confirms the kitchen's expertise in delivering authentic and satisfying meals, even with custom requests such as “no veggies.”
While some have expressed minor critiques—such as Brad Borgard’s honest take on the mango sticky rice—everything from appetizers like spring rolls and crab rangoon to the vibrant spicy eggplant and hearty fried rice options showcase the kitchen’s dedication to quality and authenticity.
Whether you’re indulging in a cozy dinner or grabbing flavorful to-go orders, Thai Cuisine’s welcoming ambiance and expertly crafted dishes make it a standout destination for anyone looking to immerse themselves in rich Thai culinary traditions in Lompoc.

Food: All the dishes taste great! We got all our orders with medium spicy, but for me personally who eats spicy food, you don’t really feel it and it gives you a slight sting on the tongue and great to stimulate your appetite. One of the customer even recommended all the food to us and she comes here all the time! Service: the staff is really warm as we walked in when they’re about to close, but we were able to order in time and enjoy a great meal. Ambiance: the restaurant looks really simple in the outside but don’t let it scare you off. It has a cute simple blue cafe vibe inside. It’s smaller than we thought but great for small party of dining!
Stopped by Thai Cuisine at 7pm on a Sunday. The place was pretty full, but we were seated immediately. I got the pad woonsen and it was a great flavor combination. I asked for no veggies, and still ended up with a ton, but overall they were easy to pick out. The pad Thai was also very good.
It's a little mom and pop shop tucked away in an industrial zone but man oh man am I glad I found this place. I tried for the first time Khao Soy and while I've had a lot of Thai food, this was one of the tastiest meals I've ever had. It was sweet, rich, flavorful with just enough spice to keep it well rounded. Staff were friendly and very busy handling to go orders. I can see why.
Ordered the Chicken Tom Yum soup, Drunken Noodles with Shrimp, and Chicken Krad Pa Krow, and Thai Iced Tea. If you like spicy, say very spicy. We ordered spicy but would categorize it as medium spicy. Other than that, everything was delicious! Owner was a nice old man.
It's kind of hard to find, don't try and get to it from El Pollo Loco. The food is authentically hot but they will ask you how you like it. We had 5 dishes plus appetizer and desert for $100 aftet tip. The only disappointment was the mango sticky rice, definitely have had better. I would go back in the future
Amazing Thai. Authentic cuisine, the best curry I've had since arriving to the Coast. And their pad thai! 10/10. Their food is very flavorful. We ordered a variety for people who helped us move, and they couldn't stop raving about the food either. Check out this hole-in-the wall Thai restaurant. You won't regret it. When we get a craving Thai, we're going here from now on. And you should too!
